Arlington Public Schools 2013 Back-to-School Nights

Arlington Public Schools will hold most of its back-to-school nights in September.

Back-to-school nights offer parents a chance to visit their children's classrooms, meet teachers and learn more about classes.

Barcroft Elementary School, which saw its school year start Thursday, will host its back-to-school night at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 14. Barcroft is the only public school in Arlington operating on a modified school year calendar.

All other Arlington Public Schools start the new year on Tuesday, Sept. 3, the day after Labor Day.

All Arlington elementary schools except Barcroft will hold their respective back-to-school nights on Tuesday, Sept. 17.

All Arlington middle schools will hold their back-to-school nights on Wednesday, Sept. 18.

The county's three high schools will hold their back-to-school nights on Tuesday, Sept. 24.

The H-B Woodlawn Secondary Program will host its back-to-school night on Wednesday, Sept. 25. And the Arlington Career Center will hold its annual back-to-school breakfast on Saturday, Sept. 28.
