  I've had an assortment of different foods at JJ Deli and while they're all good, I think my favorite thing I've had from there is the vegetable beef soup. It's fantastic on a cold day.

  Mike - Good to know about Noodles & Co., thank you! I leave some of these listings up so people can see that they have closed (it says closed at the top in red next to the name of the restaurant), but I do think after a few months it's probably well known enough to pull it completely. Thanks!

  So far all I'm finding is that Noodles & Co. is expected to open sometime "this summer." I've never actually had it, even when a new one opened in my hometown in college. I think it's on my list of things to try now.

  I really like Community Canteen. Great salads—I always get steak salads on mixed greens or spinach—and I've had their brioche French toast, too, and that was delicious. My usual breakfast there is tea or juice and a strawberry croissant. Yum. Oooh, and their adorable little cupcakes are also really good.

  Had lunch from here today for the first time. I can't remember the name of the dish but it was stuffed pasta shells with a tomato-vodka cream sauce and jumbo lump crab meat on top. So delicious!

  When I moved to Ashburn from Michigan in late December 2007 Jimmy's was the first bar I visited. We love that Jimmy will put the hockey games on for us, even if we are Wings fans. And I love the BLTs. The Jimcho's and poutine (I think it's required that people try this at least once there) are also great.

  I love Amphora's food. Brought my boyfriend there and he was so happy to find a locally owned place that does great breakfast food. Get the country sausage fritatta. It's incredible!
