I'm training to participate in the Nation's Tri as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training for the second year. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers and specifically to support a good friend who lost her amazing mom to a blood cancer. Jennifer Giebel is a vibrant, caring, and amazing friend. Her mom was also a vibrant, caring, and amazing mother. I'm raising funds and racing so that one day, we can find a cure and not have to lose any more loved ones to blood cancers.
