Veterans Day Ceremonies in Arlington

Several Veterans Day events are taking place in Arlington County over the weekend. Veterans Day takes place on Sunday. Arlington National Cemetery President Barack Obama will appear at Arlington National Cemetery’s wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknowns at 11 a.m., according to a press release from the cemetery. The ceremony will followed by an observance program hosted by the Department of Veterans Affairs in Arlington's Memorial Amphitheater. According to a release from the cemetery, the wreath-laying ceremony and the observance program are free and open to the general public.
