The 'Georgetown Cuddler' to Get New Trial
The DC Court of Appeals overturned a 2010 conviction for an Arlington man who allegedly broke into the homes of male Georgetown students and assaulted them.
An Arlington man known as the "Georgetown cuddler" will have a chance at a new trial after the DC Court of Appeals overturned his 2010 conviction, reports The Washington Post. In 2010, Todd Matthew Thomas was convicted of five counts of first-degree burglary, one count of attempted second-degree burglary, two counts of assault and and one count of fourth-degree sexual abuse with aggravating circumstances, according to court records.
