Arlington TV Releases Video on Route 50/Courthouse Bridge Work

Wonder what has been going on with Route 50 near the Courthouse Bridge? Arlington TV released a video explaining the project and posted it on YouTube recently. The $39 million project to revamp the Courthouse Bridge area (Arlington County contributed about a million of that amount) has prompted nearly weekly road closures in the area. Through Friday, the Virginia Department of Transportation will close westbound lanes from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. between North Rhodes Street and 10th Street. Eastbound lanes in the same area will be closed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., transportation officials reported. You can read more about the project on Arlington County's website.
