Arlington Students Recognized by College Board

Three Arlington Public Schools seniors will receive National Hispanic Program recognition.

Three Arlington Public Schools seniors will receive National Hispanic Program recognition from the College Board. The students are Kylee Self from Yorktown High School and Angela F. Mestre and Veronica Sever, both of Washington-Lee High School. The College Board is a New York-based nonprofit that develops the PSAT and SAT and promotes higher education. It established the National Hispanic Recognition Program in 1983 to recognize outstanding students who identified as Hispanic when they took the PSAT. Students receive the award based on their PSAT scores and grade point averages. The Arlington School Board will recognize the winners at the beginning of its next meeting, which is 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 6 in the board room at the Arlington …
