Reality star turned restaurateur Chris Bukowski has announced the name for his new sports bar opening in Clarendon: Bracket Room. “The two most important things are great food and great service,” Bukowski said. “We don’t want it to be your typical bar food.” The 3,000-square-foot restaurant is opening at 1210 N. Garfield St., which was formerly the spot for Burapa Thai. Bachelor star Chris Bukowski has a restaurant in the works.
Chris Bukowski, a restaurateur who was a contestant on ABC's reality show "Bachelor Pad," is hoping to open up a sports bar in Clarendon, he told Northern Virginia Magazine. He hopes the bar will be friendly to men and women, with a "softer ambiance" than a typical sports bar, Bukowski told the magazine. He hopes to open the restaurant sometime this spring. A name for the restaurant hasn't been decided yet, but could be as early as Friday, Bukowski announced on his Facebook page Thursday evening. He is deciding between the names Bracket Room or ChangeUP, according to his the page.

The DC-based Z Burger will open at 3325 Wilson Boulevard.
The DC burger chain Z Burger is expected to open within the next month in the Virginia Square area. “Arlington County is one of the best locations as far as business goes,” said the restaurant’s co-founder Peter Tabibian. The restaurant’s fourth location is three years in the making, much of the time spent obtaining the necessary permits to renovate the 3,500-square-foot building that once housed a video service shop, Tabibian said. Z Burger features burgers (of course), fries, and 75 different milkshake flavors. Onions for the onion rings are cut daily and hot dogs served are Hebrew National hot dogs, Tabibian said.
