About 147 million people plan to go shopping during the Black Friday weekend, according to a recent National Retail Federation survey. With that said, shopaholics everywhere are gearing up for a weekend marathon of purchasing Christmas gifts, necessities for their homes and other items that many retailers are marking down for the holidays. With stores opening early, closing late (or not at all!) Black Friday is an annual mad-dash for good deals before the holidays. So we want to know, did you brave the stores for Black Friday? What kind of deals did you find?
For shoppers looking for less crowds on Black Friday, outdoor areas like Georgetown's M Street and Market Common Clarendon, or smaller malls such as The Ballston Common might be the way to go.
