Police: No one injured
A vehicle crashed into the Baskin Robbins in the Lee Harrison Shopping Center shortly after noon Saturday. No injuries were reported, Arlington police spokesman Dustin Sternbeck said. At about 12:11 p.m. Saturday, a vehicle crashed into the ice cream parlor's storefront when an elderly male driver mistakenly put his foot down on the gas pedal rather than the brake, Sternbeck said. Two people were in the vehicle. It's not clear how many were in Baskin Robbins, Sternbeck said. Damage to building has been estimated at about $20,000. The Lee Harrison Shopping Center is at 2511 N. Harrison St., at the intersection of Harrison and Lee Highway.
