Protection Order, Now What?

We constantly hear these issues in the news, we witness our friends experiencing these gut wrenching episodes. Overall, it is also a humiliating experience where the victim ends up feeling embarrassed.  Each year, an estimated 3.4 million men and women become victims of stalking, and experience violations of their privacy and safety, receive threats, but most tragically, could suffer injury or death by their stalker.

Women experience about 4.8 million intimate partner-related physical assaults and rapes every year. These are reported cases. According to the National Crime Victimization Survey, which includes crimes that were not reported to the police, 232,960 women in the U.S. were raped or sexually assaulted in 2006.

Protection orders do not protect you physically! You may be at your wits end, and don't know what else to do. Learn how to identify these potential threats before they happen to you, and discover the resources that are available if you are a victim of any of these crimes. 

SHE CAN SHOOT will have female law enforcement officers, a representative from a local domestic abuse shelter, and a physical security consultant will be available to discuss matters surrounding these issues.

Following this lecture, there will be an opportunity to stay behind for the intro to firearms that will be presented. This will be a brief opportunity to experiment with firearms that are available and we will go to the shooting range that is 15 minutes away.

Female firearms instructors, range rental fees, ammunition, hearing/eye protection, firearms, and targets will be offered for an additional $25.
