JV Generals 10-7 Heading Into Final Three Games

Generals defeated Edison Eagles on Monday.

Cameron Anderson pitched seven strong innings, giving up only three hits and two runs (one earned) as the Washington-Lee JV Generals defeated the Edison Eagles 6-2 Monday night at Norwood Field at Quincy Park in Arlington. Anderson also stole two bases and scored the Generals' first run.

Daniel Bowler played a flawless third base on four tough chances and was on-base three of four times, scoring the second run. Edison was its own worst enemy, allowing three Generals runs on three walks, two errors, two sacrifice bunts and zero hits in the fourth inning.

The Generals are 10-7 in the season (10-1 in district play) with final games Wednesday at Yorktown and then home Friday versus Stuart and Tuesday versus Hayfield.
