Eight local high school bands will take the stage at on Saturday for the teen Battle of the Bands challenge.
According to the Artisphere website, "Each band will perform a 15-minute set of original material, with a limit of one cover song per band. The bands performing are: Teen Witch Rebellion, Songs About Girls, Challenger Deep, Mr. Mannequin, New Metro, Breakthrough, Remedy and NOX."
The winner of the competition will receive 32 hours of professional recording time at 4Mile Studios in Arlington.
The public is encouraged and welcome to attend the event, which will run from 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets are $5.
