What's so great about Raw Food?

Did you know most health challenges are caused by faulty food intake, more specifically chemicals, preservatives, artificial additives, pesticides and even cooking? Cooking changes the chemical composition of food. Once cooked, food can lose up to 85% of its nutritional value. Cooked food is usually denatured, demineralized, and devoid of live enzymes. The digestive system has to work harder and longer to process cooked food to derive its nutrition & energy.

While research shows that “Living Foods” have healing qualities that can alleviate many illnesses including low energy, allergies, digestive disorders, weak immune system, high cholesterol, candida, arthritis, and obesity; there is also criticism about the nutritional deficiency and risk of food poisoning associated with consuming raw food.

Come to Going Raw to find out more about the pros and cons of raw food, how you can safely incorporate raw food into your daily life to improve your health and the Top Ten Raw “Super Foods” you should include in your diet!
