Libertarian Malkin Enters Delegate Race

Libertarian candidate Justin Malkin will face Democrat Rob Krupicka and Republican Tim McGhee in Sept. 4 special election.

The special election to replace Del. David Englin as representative of the 45th District in the House of Delegates is now a three-way race.

Libertarian Party candidate Justin Malkin filed election paperwork with Alexandria this week and will be on the ballot on Sept. 4.

He will face Democratic nominee Rob Krupicka, an Alexandria city councilman and a member of the State Board of Education, and Republican Tim McGhee.

Absentee voting for the special election begins Friday at the Arlington County Voter Registration Office on the third floor of the county administration building at 2100 Clarendon Blvd.

The following Arlington County precincts are affected by this race:

  • Aurora Hills (polls at Linden Resources)
  • Fairlington (polls at Fairlington Center)
  • Abingdon (polls at Abingdon School)
  • Oakridge (polls at Oakridge School)
  • Shirlington (polls at Park Operations Building)
