Examiner: Zimmerman Talks 'Smart Growth' at 'State of the County'

Arlington Chamber of Commerce hosts annual speech.

Arlington County Board Chairman Chris Zimmerman said this county was "doing well by any measure" at his annual State of the County address, according to the Washington Examiner.

Zimmerman talked about the need to devote resources to infrastructure spending to accommodate "smart growth," even in difficult economic times, the Examiner reported.

The event was held Tuesday at the Marriott in Crystal City.
