Police: Peeping Tom Spotted in South Arlington

Investigators so far have not located the man, according to police.

Two women reported seeing a peeping Tom outside of their South Arlington apartment Friday night, according to information the Arlington County Police Department released today.

The incident took place at 10:13 p.m. Friday at a residence in the 4400 block of South 31st Street, according to police.

The women told police they saw a man lurking outside and looking into their apartment through some windows.

When one of the women opened the apartment's back door, the man ran away and hid behind some trees, according to police. Officers were called and a police dog searched for the man, but he remains at large.

The man was described as being in his late 30s with short black hair, and he wore a black shirt and baggy jeans at the time.
