Police: Woman Grabbed on Arlington Bus

Arlington Police report that Aaron Darnell Alexander, 28, was charged with sexual assault and battery.

A 28-year-old man was charged with grabbing a woman inappropriately on a bus, according to Arlington County Police.

The incident happened at 4:31 p.m. on Friday on the bus on the 2500 block of North Washington Boulevard.

According to police, Aaron Darnell Alexander, who has no fixed address, allegedly approached a woman on the bus and started saying vulgar things to her. The woman asked him to stop talking and move away. Police said that Alexander then allegedly reached over and grabbed the victim inappropriately.

The woman yelled, and the bus driver pulled over and called police. Alexander was charged with sexual assault and battery. He is being held on a $3,500 secure bond.
