Police: Three Caught Trying to Break Into Storage Locker
The Arlington County Police Department released the following information.
Burglary
Three men were caught trying to break into a storage locker in a parking garage in the Forest Glen community, according to the Arlington County Police Department.
The incident took place at 11:24 p.m. Feb. 13 in the 800 block of South Greenbrier Street, when three men followed a woman into an apartment complex, police state.

A nearby resident reported that the men were acting suspicious, and police said they arrived to find them trying to break into a storage locker. Police arrested the three, and a getaway car with a fourth suspect was found outside.
Charles Albert Messiah, 19, of Annandale, was charged with burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, possession of burglarious tools, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and resisting arrest. Kareem Jamar Taylor, 19, of Alexandria, was charged with burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Both are being held without bond.

Ciarra Chante Rice, 19, of Lorton, was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit burglary and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. She is being held on a $5,000 secured bond for the first charge and a $3,000 secured bond for the second charge.
A juvenile was also arrested and charged with burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary, according to police.
Robbery
A man assaulted his girlfriend after she ended their six-month relationship, according to Arlington police. The incident occurred at 1:25 a.m. Saturday in the 3600 block of South Kemper Road. The man stole the woman's purse and car, leaving before officers could arrive, according to police.
Burglary
A laptop was reported stolen from a home sometime between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Valentine's Day in the 1900 block of North Westmoreland Street, according to police.
