Police: Man Masturbates in Public, Follows Woman

A man seen fondling himself in public followed a woman until she was able to get away from him, according to the Arlington County Police Department.

Police say that the woman was walking at 7:30 p.m. on March 15 on the 1300 block of South Monroe Street, and she saw a man masturbating while seated inside a car with the door open.

As she walked away, she noticed that the man began following her in his car, according to police. The man reportedly parked, got out of the car, and started to follow her.

The woman ran into a post office to escape and the man left, police said. Police described him as about 40 years old, 5 foot 8 inches tall, and 200 pounds. He reportedly had a dark complexion, short black hair, no facial hair, and a muscular build.
