Police: Man Charged with Indecent Exposure in Front of 7-11

Lovett recently released from jail in Washington, D.C., spokesman says.

Arlington police have accused a 28-year-old man of masturbating in front of a convenience store near Virginia Square early Saturday, according to information released today.

Nathanael Lovett, who has no fixed address, was charged with indecent exposure and held without bail, according to police.

Lovett had recently been released from jail in Washington, D.C., on an unrelated charge, Arlington police spokesman Dustin Sternbeck said. He would not elaborate.

A patrol officer saw Lovett masturbating on the sidewalk in front of , 3510 Wilson Blvd., at about 4:42 a.m. Saturday, Sternbeck said.

"There's not a lot of people out on the street at that time," he said.

When Lovett saw the officer approach, he stopped, Sternbeck said.

Lovett does not have a history of this kind of behavior, Sternbeck said.
