Police: Ring Robbery Reported on Valentine's Day from Mall Kiosk

The robbery took place on Valentine's Day, according to police.

A juvenile tried to steal a ring from a kiosk at the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City on Valentine’s Day, Arlington police report.

At 7 p.m. at the mall, which is on South Hayes Street, the owner of the kiosk noticed someone trying to steal rings, according to the Arlington County Police Department. When the owner confronted the juvenile, the subject struck the victim in the face.

The subject and victim remained at the mall until police came. The victim reported minor injuries, and one of the rings were recovered, according to police. The juvenile, whose name is not being released by police, was arrested on robbery charges.
