Arlington Police Find 21 Gallons of Moonshine in Douglas Park Home

Officers were called to residence in reference to a domestic dispute.

Arlington County police were recently called to a residence in the Douglas Park community in reference to a domestic dispute and found, among other things, 21 gallons of moonshine.

Officers arrived at 1118 S. Thomas St. at about 9:30 a.m. Thursday, according to information released Monday.

There, they found 56-year-old Marion Hilliard, a felon, allegedly in possession of several shotguns and a rifle. They also found 21 gallons of moonshine and various pills.

At this point, Hilliard has been charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, according to police. The investigation is ongoing, police spokesman Dustin Sternbeck said.
