Indecent Exposure Reported on North Rhodes Street

Woman saw man outside her window as she was making breakfast.

Arlington County police are investigating a case of indecent exposure in the Radnor-Fort Myer Heights neighborhood, the latest in a string of such crimes going on two months.

At about 9 a.m. Thursday, a woman in the 1500 block of North Rhodes Street saw an unknown man outside her window exposing himself, according to information police released Friday.

"The victim stated he was between a trash can and a tree outside of her window," police spokesman Dustin Sternbeck said. "She noticed him first, as she was making breakfast, and realized he had his (genitalia) out. They made eye contact, and the suspect fled."

It's not clear if the woman was targeted, Sternbeck said.

The suspect is described as a white male in his early- to mid-20s, approximately 5 feet, 7 inches tall with a light brown mustache, according to police. He was wearing dark pants, a long sleeve red sweatshirt and a baseball hat at the time of the incident.
