Arlington Police Detective Crystal Nosal would not release the amount of money the man got away with citing department policy. She also declined to say whether police knew the man's motive.

Nosal said she would not use the term "serial" to describe the man and reiterated a past statement about Arlington County averaging 10 bank robberies each year.

Today's incident marks the fifth bank robbery in about two months.

Police have not linked the suspect in today's crime to the two outstanding bank robberies.
