Crime Report: Woman Assaulted While Walking from Ballston Metro

The latest crime reports released Wednesday by the Arlington County Police Department. 

Sexual Assault

A woman walking home from the Ballston Metro was groped by a man on a bike.

The incident occurred at 1:38 a.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of North Stafford Street, according to police.

The man was on a bike and grabbed the woman's buttocks, according to police. The suspect is approximately 25 years old, about 5 feet, 6 inches tall with black hair.

Burglary 

Sometime between noon and 3 p.m. Friday, someone entered a home in the 1700 block of North Stafford Street, according to police. Jewelry and money were taken.

Sometime between 3 and 9:30 p.m. Saturday, someone took jewelry from a home in the 1800 block of South 9th Street, according to police.
 
Burglary

An unknown person entered a home through a window, and the victim is unsure if anything was stolen. The incident occurred sometime between 9 p.m. Saturday and 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
 
Burglary

Numerous cell phones were taken from a business sometime between 5:45 p.m. Monday and 8:50 p.m. Tuesday, according to police.
