Crime Report: Windows Smashed, Oxycodone Stolen

The following arrest information was reported by the Arlington County Police Department.

The following incidents were reported by the Arlington County Police Department from Sept. 3 through Sept. 19.

Robbery
A robber grabbed a victim’s oxycodone prescription and other purchases at about 10 a.m. on Sept. 13 on the 3100 block of Lee Highway, according to police.
 
Burglary
A 20-year-old was charged with two counts of burglary after a homeowner's video surveillance caught the man on tape, according to police. Timothy Russell, of Arlington, is being held without bond. The home in the 200 block of North 19th Street was burglarized between 5:33 a.m. on Sept. 13 and 4:42 a.m. on Sept. 15, police stated.

Burglary
Copper pipes and other metals belonging to a home in the 1300 block of North Herndon Street were taken sometime between the morning of Sept. 14 and 10 a.m. on Sept. 15, according to police.

Destruction of Property
Several car windows were shattered sometime between 7 p.m. on Sept. 12 and 7:30 a.m. on Sept. 13 in the 4900 block of South Chesterfield Street.
