Crime Report: Condoms, Cigars Stolen in Gas Station Theft, Police Say
The following arrest information was supplied by the Arlington County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
The following incidents were reported by the Arlington County Police Department from Aug. 16 through Aug. 22.
Burglary
Police saw two men breaking into a gas station and taking condoms, cigars, cigarettes, and lighters on Aug. 17.

Authorities reported that the officers witnessed the crime between 12:45 a.m. and 1:15 a.m from a parking lot across the street from the gas station on the 2400 block of N. Lee Highway.
Camron David Rashed, 20, who has no fixed address, and Elmer Randall, 25, of Arlington, were arrested and charged with burglary, petit larceny and possession of burglarious tools, police said.

Burglary
A suspect or suspects cut a hole through a metal security gate at a building on the 1100 block of S. Hayes St. between 9:40 p.m. on Aug. 19 and 9:40 a.m. on Aug. 20, police said. The burglars stole about $28 in loose change, though there was $700 in cash next to the register. No suspect description was available.

Jewelry and silverware was stolen when someone entered a locked home on the 6100 block of N. Washington Blvd. between 8:43 p.m. and 1:35 p.m. on Aug. 20, police said. No suspect description was available.

Cash, and iPad, and a laptop were stolen from a business on the 2700 block of Wilson Boulevard. The incident occurred between midnight and 9 p.m. on Aug. 19, police said. There is no suspect(s) description.

A burglar took a laptop, camcorder, and camera from an apartment on the 1600 block of Clarendon Blvd. on Aug. 18, police said. There is no suspect(s) description.

Two laptops were taken from a business on the 2000 block of S. Jefferson Davis Highway between 5:50 p.m. on Aug. 15 and 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 16, police said. There is no suspect(s) description.
