Crime Report: Cash Stolen from Donation Boxes

The latest incidents reported to the Arlington County Police Department. The following is not a complete list.

Burglary

Someone stole three donation boxes containing cash from a business, according to police.

The incident took place between 10:20 p.m. on March 27 and 10:45 a.m. on March 28 in the 5100 block of North Lee Highway, police report. Someone reportedly forced their way in by breaking a window.

Robbery

A man who stole a pack of cigarettes from a store threatened an employee when confronted, according to the Arlington County Police Department.

The pack was stolen at 8:34 p.m. Tuesday from the 2100 block of North Fifth Street. The robber was about 5 feet, 9 inches tall, 170 pounds, and wore white glasses, a dark jacket, and carried camouflage bag, police reported.

Burglary

A tenant reported that someone entered their apartment and stole cash, according to police. The items were taken between 12:30 p.m. on March 27 and 8:30 a.m. on March 28 from the 900 block of North Taylor Street, police said.

Burglary

Jewelry and other items were stolen from a home between 11:30 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. on March 28 in the 3600 block of North Piedmont Street, according to police.
