Boy Robbed of Designer 'Helly Hansen' Jacket, Police Report

The boy was robbed Saturday evening, according to police.

Three men stole a designer jacket from a juvenile after shoving him to the ground this weekend, the Arlington County Police Department reported Monday.

A passerby saw the robbery occur at about 10 p.m. Saturday in the 3600 block of South Stafford Street and helped the boy call police.

The stolen item was a Helly Hansen jacket, which can range in price anywhere from $85 to $900, according to the retailer’s website.

A jacket of the same brand name was stolen from 18-year-old Olijawon Griffin in the Adams Morgan neighborhood in November, according to Washington police. The police department reported that Griffin was stabbed after trying to retrieve the jacket from teenagers who he believed had robbed him.
