Police Seek Info on Hit and Run on Arlington Memorial Bridge

A motorcyclist was hit on the Arlington Memorial Bridge on New Year's Eve.

The U.S. Park Police are asking for help tracking down a minivan that struck a motorcyclist on the Arlington Memorial Bridge at 5:45 a.m. New Year's Eve.

The brown minivan should have damage along its front driver-side portion, according to park police. Authorities have no additional information about the vehicle.

The incident occurred as both vehicles were heading east into Washington, Sgt. Paul Brooks told Patch in an email.

The victim sustained a serious leg injury and other non-life threatening injuries.
