Arlington Man Charged with Stalking, Unlawful Filming

Police: Topless photo of ex-girlfriend was taken without knowledge or consent.

A 27-year-old Arlington man was arrested after a domestic dispute this weekend in which he allegedly sent a photo to a woman that was taken of her while she was sleeping topless.

Trevor Frye has been charged with burglary, stalking and unlawful filming, according to police.

Frye showed up at an ex-girlfriend's apartment Saturday in the 800 block of North Quincy Street in Ballston, police spokesman Dustin Sternbeck said. He made more than 50 attempts to contact the woman that day by calling her and sending text messages, Sternbeck said.

Frye was also reported yelling "obscene" comments outside of the woman's apartment, Sternbeck said.

During that time, he sent her a photo that was taken of the woman, topless, while she slept, Sternbeck said. The woman didn't know exactly when he would have been inside her apartment to take the picture, Sternbeck said.

The man showed up again shortly after midnight inside the woman's apartment, Sternbeck said. She isn't sure how he got in.
