Family, Friends Leave Behind Memorial for Sami Ullah at Rosslyn Crash Site

A makeshift memorial was put up at the crash site where a Leesburg man died on March 10.

Family members and friends of 21-year-old Sami Ullah have left behind flowers and photos at the crash site where the Leesburg man died earlier this month.

A poster of Ullah and flowers surrounded the tree Monday near where police say Ullah’s BMW struck a curb while going approximately 90 miles per hour on March 10. The two passengers inside the car with Ullah survived, according to the Arlington County Police Department.

The Washington Post spoke with Ullah’s family in an obituary published over the weekend, recalling him as smart and faithful. They said that it was uncharacteristic of him to be speeding.
