MAKING THE ANTI-HOLLYWOOD MOVIE with Veteran TV and Film Director JOHN PUTCH

Successful veteran TV and film director JOHN PUTCH straddles the political & fiscal line by revealing the inconvenient truth about indie films in Hollywood and his unique approach to making films outside the system. Are you a film maker, actor, writer or producer and want to make your own independent film?  Do you lack the courage to get off your butt and just do it?  This informal seminar will open your eyes to the possibility.  Veteran TV director & indie film maker JOHN PUTCH candidly recounts how he has done just that with 3 award winning productions, MOJAVE PHONE BOOTH,  ROUTE 30 & ROUTE 30, TOO!

This half day seminar gives attendees the confidence and inside knowledge to kickstart their project with limited resources.  Often referred to as the 'Anti Hollywood Filmmaker', Putch will offer his distinct and honest method of tailoring your script, production do's and don'ts, and self-distribution pointers, all from the no-budget perspective.  This rebellious approach calls on filmmakers to ignore the Hollywood mystique, and create a film to suit their unique situation.

Join the fun as Putch goes rogue and shares the juicy secrets of just how the system treats indie films.  The jam packed afternoon will provide insight and methodology of how to successfully make your film, your own way.
