Lebanese Taverna has joined up with the American Diabetes Association during this November’s American Diabetes Month to raise awareness of healthy eating and to support the ADA’s efforts to Stop Diabetes on November 14, 2013Lebanese Taverna restaurant is located on 1101 S Joyce St., Arlington, VA 22202.

American Diabetes Month, sponsored by the American Diabetes Association, wants to raise awareness of this epidemic disease:

· One in ten people, or over 25 million Americans, have been diagnosed with diabetes and 1.9 million new cases are being diagnosed every year. 

· One in three children born since 2000 will develop diabetes in their lifetime if current trends continue.

Lebanese Taverna restaurants will donate a portion of their proceeds on Thursday, November 14, 2013 when diners ask for the ADA coupon at the restaurant.  By dining at Lebanese Taverna and contributing to the American Diabetes Association, we can eat well AND help raise funds for diabetes research programs.
