Carol Rosen and friends from the Master Gardeners of Northern Virginia will share the art and ecology of planting and preserving native species. Participants will be inspired by the beauty of native plants in botanical illustrations and photographs, and learn how to reclaim urban neighborhoods and public spaces by giving them a sense of “place” with native plants – whether created in fiber or grown in gardens and window boxes.
This is the second lecture in a three-part series presented by the Artisphere Yarn Bomb/Guerrilla Stitch Brigade.
