Alzheimer’s Association workshop “Living with Alzheimer’s: For Middle-Stage Caregivers”

In the middle stage of Alzheimer’s disease, those who were care partners now become hands-on caregivers. Join us for this 3-part series* and hear caregivers and professionals discuss helpful strategies to provide safe, effective and comfortable care in the middle stage of Alzheimer’s.

Topics covered will include:

• Symptoms and care needs associated with the middle stage of Alzheimer’s disease.
• The relationship changes that occur in the middle-stage
• Ways caregivers can maximize safety, prepare for emergencies, and access respite care
• Effective ways to provide personal care and manage challenging behaviors

*The presentations in this workshop series are sequential and should be taken in order:  March 11 (Part 1); March 18 (Part 2); and March 25 (Part 3).
