Arlington County may see about an inch of snow overnight, according to the National Weather Service.
The service issued a winter weather advisory that is in effect for the Northern Virginia region from midnight to 9 a.m. Thursday. Temperatures will be in the upper teens and lower 20s, with winds climbing up to 10 to 20 mph.
The weather service is urging drivers to take care during rush hour.
