Tuesday's Weather Forecast: Heat Advisory In Effect

The information in this weather forecast is provided by the National Weather Service.

According to the National Weather Service's forecast for Arlington, Tuesday will be even warmer than Monday, with temperatures soaring to 94 degrees, dipping down to 70 degrees later this evening.

A heat advisory is currently in effect until 8 p.m. The elderly, children and pets are most at-risk for heat-related illness.

The NWS advises everyone to drink plenty of fluids and to seek air-conditioning during the hottest part of the day. "Never leave children or pets in a car," the head advisory warns. "Temperatures inside the vehicle can exceed 130 degrees in a matter of minutes."
