Poll: Green Bike Lanes in Arlington?

You’re not just seeing green when you take a glimpse at some of the bike lanes in Clarendon.

Last week, Arlington County began painting certain bike lanes green, according to a blog post from Dan Malouff, a transportation planner with the county’s Department of Transportation.

“When bikes and cars mix, the key to safety is for both bicyclists and car drivers to be aware of their surroundings, and expect to encounter each other,” Malouff wrote.
