Why Go: This concert will feature "Violinist Leonid Sushansky called 'astonishing…extraordinarily gifted' by The New York Times and Carlos Rodriguez, acclaimed by The Washington Post as “a powerful pianist”. Together, Sushansky and Rodriguez bring their artistry to the sonatas for violin and piano by Johannes Brahms."

Pricing: Tickets are $28. Students can buy tickets at a reduced price of $15.

4. New York City Ballet

Where/When: , 2700 F St. NW, Washington. 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., Saturday.

Why Go: No need to suffer a bus ride to the Big Apple to soak up some big city culture. Just head to the Kennedy Center. According to its website, "The acclaimed New York City Ballet, renowned for its linear purity, speed, and musicality, performs two mixed repertory programs accompanied by the Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra."

Pricing: Tickets range in price from $25 to $85.
