Get Out: Movies, Gershwin, Civil War and More
The weekend is only one day away! What are you going to do with it?
When/Where: (1644 31st St., NW) the house tour begins at 10:30 a.m. followed by a walking tour beginning at 1 p.m.
Why Go: Join either or both tours. You will learn how a historic home and its inhabitants were involved in the Civil Ward and enjoy a walk around Georgetown to burial sites and other historic locations.

When/Where: Movies start at dusk on Friday at the near the Key Bridge.
Why Go: The setting on the Potomac is particularly apt for this week's film, "All the President's Men." Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman portray legendary Washington Post journalists Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein as they unravel the Watergate scandal. Bring your own blankets and popcorn.

When/Where: The show starts at 8:15 p.m. Friday at the , 1645 Trap Rd., Vienna.
Why Go: The National Symphony Orchestra, conductor Marvin Hamlisch, pianist Kevin Cole and Broadway star Melissa Errico will perform some of George and Ira Gershwin's most beloved songs, including "An American in Paris," "Rhapsody in Blue" and "Embraceable You." It will be a magical Wolf Trap evening under the stars - as long as the rain holds off.
Pricing: Tickets range in price from $20 to $52.

When/Where: The wine tasting starts at 6:15 p.m. Friday at the Arlington Cinema and Drafthouse, 2903 Columbia Pike, Arlington. Friday, 6:15 p.m.
Why Go: This "guided, interactive wine-tasting features eight or more wines from around the world." This week, the cinema will feature "The Dictator," starring Sasha Baron Cohen.
Pricing: Tickets for wine tasting are $2 per taste or 6 tickets for $10. Movie tickets are $5.50.

Why Go: Add some gently loved books to your collection and get the kiddos out of the house. Maybe you'll even find a new cookbook to inspire a weekend family dinner!
Pricing: Most books are $1 each ($10 per bag on Saturday). Children's books are 50¢ for paperbacks and $1 for hardbacks.
