Friday Flash Flood Watch Issued for Arlington County
National Weather Service: Conditions for flash flood likely to begin midday.
The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for Friday afternoon and into the night for Arlington County.
Numerous storms are expected to develop in the middle of the day, and heavy rainfall could total more than 2 inches in less than an hour, according to a statement from the county.
A flash flood watch means conditions are ripe for a flash flood to develop.
