Contest Now Open to Design Art for Arlington Bus

Middle and high school students are eligible to submit designs.

An Arlington youth will have the chance to see his or her winning design on the outside of a bus through a contest from Arlington Transit.

Submissions are being taken through June 3, 2013, according to a county press release. The contest is open to any middle or high school student who lives in or attends school in Arlington County.

Designs will be focused on the theme “Share Your Streets—Be a PAL” in honor of the county’s pedestrian, cycling, and driving safety initiative. The winning design will wrap one ART bus in the county.
