Whole Foods' Flower Selection Tops Readers' Choice Contest

Saeeda's Blooming Flowers placed second.

The in Clarendon received the most votes in to determine the best place to buy flowers in the Rosslyn-Ballston corridor.

Hopefully, the low turnout isn't indicative of the number of people who plan to get their moms flowers on Mother's Day.

Whole Foods won 42 percent of the vote, followed by (21 percent). Saeeda's had more positive reviews in Patch Places, but they didn't happen during the contest period.

Looking for flowers outside the Rosslyn-Ballston corridor? Be sure to check out nearby Patches in Georgetown, Falls Church and Del Ray, which hosted their own Readers' Choice contests.

Also: After extending the voting for a week,  and  (featuring Red Velvet cupcakes) ended up with a tie in last week's hunt to find the best cupcakes in the corridor. Neither received positive reviews or comments, which would have broken the tie.
