WaPo: Construction of Two New Towers in Rosslyn to Begin Next Year

The JBG Cos. plans to add an office tower and apartment tower to Rosslyn's skyline.

The Chevy Chase, Md.-based JBG Cos. plans to start a project that will add two 390-foot towers in Rosslyn during the first half of 2012, according to the Washington Post.

Upon completion, they will be among the highest structures in the greater Washington area.

The project includes a 533,000-square-foot office tower on top of the Rosslyn Metro and a 390-unit apartment tower, the Post reports.

The company plans to start with the office tower despite not having signed any tenants, a JBG managing partner told the Post.
