La Tagliatella Opens April 1 in Clarendon

The Italian restaurant La Tagliatella has announced its opening date: April 1.
The restaurant, at 2950 Clarendon Blvd., has been under construction for several months.
“We’re thrilled to bring this popular Italian concept to Clarendon. This thriving neighborhood is the perfect location for our mid-Atlantic debut in the United States,” Mike Muldoon, president of La Tagliatella, stated in a news release.

La Tagliatella has 130 locations in Spain and France, but this will only be the chain’s third restaurant in the United States. They have two locations in Atlanta.
The restaurant will offer 20 varieties of Napoleon-style pizzas, lasagna and other pastas, including spiedino Napoletano with skewered pork tenderloin.

Wine, beer and specialty cocktails will be on the menu as well, including one drink called the “caprese martini” that includes Square One basil vodka, tomato, lemon, basil and mozzarella.
La Tagliatella will serve lunch and dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
