A vegan and vegetarian-friendly restaurant is open now in Clarendon.
Karu & Toast, 3620 Wilson Blvd. (near the corner of Nelson Street), is open for dinner Mondays, lunch and dinner Tuesday through Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday.
The menu focuses on organic and freshly made salads and soups, coffee, tea and bakery items. The eatery has been there for a while, but was previously not open to the general public.
