Dishcrawl Coming to Clarendon

The crawl through Clarendon restaurants is happening on May 15.

The Dishcrawl — think a pub-crawl for foodies — is coming to Clarendon in May.

“The idea is to get local food lovers together,” William Flourance, Arlington’s "dishcrawl ambassador," said.

The event made its Arlington debut in March, when a crawl was organized in Shirlington. This time around, a handful of Clarendon restaurants will be in the spotlight, according to organizers.

Diners get to try small plates of staple entrees at the first three restaurant and a desert at the third restaurant, Flourance said.

The names of the restaurants won’t be announced until two days before the event, organizers said. Ticket holders will be notified via email where to meet up, and clues are posted on the company’s Twitter account @dishcrawlarl.
