County Gives Stars to Businesses that Hire People with Disabilities

The program begins this fall.

Employers who hire people with disabilities will be recognized with a decal they can put on the windows of their business this fall.

“By hiring persons with disabilities, employers help make our community a better place,” Arlington County Aging and Disability Services Division Chief Glenda Blake said in a prepared statement.

The star-shaped decal will state, “Include-Empower-Support.”
